CA Uday Gandhi
He is the founder & managing partner of the firm & is a Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and also Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) since the past 25 years.
His specializes in Direct and Indirect Taxes. He has maneuvered the firm's sphere of practice from audit & taxation to areas like process reviews, due diligence reviews, strategic consulting etc.
He is also an empanelled Arbitrator with Bombay High Court.
A go getter at his work he is constantly looking at new areas of growth for clients, firm, affiliates & employees.
His positive approach to any issue flows into the firm & hence reflects in the firm's performance. He believes in "process orientation" than "person orientation" for client delivery.
CA Kunal Gandhi
Kunal is a Partner at U.S. Gandhi & Co, Chartered Accountants. He heads the consulting and taxation division of the firm. Kunal represents a number of top corporates and business houses before the tax authorities at the assessment and appellate forums and is extremely proactive and innovative in achieving client objectives.
At present, he is actively involved in scaling the forensics and financial criminal law advisory practice areas. Rightfully so, his clients often refer to him as "Man-Friday" since he's a quick thinker and apt problem solver in crisis situations.
Along with being an active contributor to technical articles in various journals, he is also invited to address various conferences on areas of tax structuring, fund raising and entrepreneurship.
In the start-up space, Kunal is invited as a panel speaker on topics like business valuations, regulatory environment for start-ups, how to make a business plan, taxation issues during fund raising, how to clean your books during fund raising and many more.
Prior to this, Kunal was a Consultant at Protiviti Risk Consulting where his responsibilities included Process reviews, SOP designing and Due diligences. Before his stint at Protiviti, he was working with N.M. Raiji & Co, Chartered Accountants, where he was involved in statutory audits of large listed public and private sector entities.
When not working, Kunal spends a lot of time mentoring start-ups, playing squash and getting surf lessons.
